Robert DUNLOP Obituary
Born January 21, 1949 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 18, 2014 in Surrey, BC. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years Marlene; his daughters Rhonda (Mark) and Shelley (Jason), his son Doug (Ashleigh); 7 grandchildren Shianne, Cassidy, Cole, Camryn, Chloe, Jake and Brett; his mother-in-law Dorothy, brother Bill (Janice) nieces, nephews, relatives and many good friends. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Northview Golf and Country Club 6857 – 68 Street, Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency. A special thanks to all the staff at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Vancouver Cancer Clinic, especially Dr. Sophie Sun for all of their care and support. Marlene & Family:
There are no words we can offer to ease your sorrow at this most difficult time of your lives. Although we have lost touch over the years, our memories of Bob go back to days when our boys played hockey together. During the games, he would be off to one side quietly drinking his coffee. A kind man that was always positive and encouraging. Treasure your memories and always remember he how well liked he was. We will not be able to attend the memorial, but know that our thoughts are with you.

Dear Marlene and the Dunlop family,
My deepest condolences for your loss.
I wanted to share how fortunate I was to belong to Bob's "other" family--those of us who have worked for him at some time in our careers. Bob was a Leader, an inspiration, a confidant, and his kind but firm manner of dealing with people made us truly believe he was the smartest guy on the planet and we would have followed him anywhere!
