Not sure what to say?

To the Mr.
I know why this has taken me so long to post. My feelings were just too raw & overwhelmingly sad. And you really were about happiness. You were happy by nature and wished that for everyone else. No child or grandchild escaped your questions about what was their favorite or happiest BD, Christmas or best time on a vacation
You were basically a man comfortable in his own skin. That has the best fallout on others. The letters the family received describing you throughout...

My Condolences to the Family. During this time of sorrow, may you find peace and comfort in God's promise found at John 6:40
With Deep Sympathy

For so many years Dr. Dunphy helped so many people. His good deeds were not in vain. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Patty, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of Bob. Our thoughts are with you. Suzanne and Howard Greenberg

I'm saddened to hear of Dr. Dunphy's passing. It was a privilege to have work for him for eleven years. He was a very kind and respectful man. My prayers go out to his children and families. With love Denise Adams

As a collage student and flight instructor I had the privilege
to Dr Dunphy as a primary flight student. A review of my log book shows him soloing Apr 7th 1961 in an Aeronca 7AC. We will keep him in our prayers. Tom & Judy Murphy

Dr. Dunphy started his ophthalmology practice 50 years ago, and we are grateful for his pioneering work, as we continue the practice. We still have many patients who were original patients of Dr. Dunphy, and they always recall him with kind words and memories. We will always remember Dr. Dunphy as a very caring and compassionate ophthalmologist who brought great vision to many patients and improved many lives.
George H. Garcia, MD

Based solely on a handshake, Bob and I shared an office and practiced ophthalmology together for over 20 years. Bob was an excellent clinician and a fine ophthalmic surgeon of unparalleled integrity, filled with caring and compassion. Trina and I were fortunate to have him as a friend. She joins me in extending our deepest condolences to Patty, his six children and his many grandchildren. He is missed. He will continue living in our hearts.

Love,

Alex & Trina Dora, Newport...

It was a privilege to know Bob for many years. He was such a kind and gentle soul and will be missed. Our thoughts and kind wishes are with Patti, and Bob's children and grandchildren. Love, Pat & Stan Siegel
