Robert "Bob" Dupont Sr.

Robert "Bob" Dupont, Sr., age 89, a native of New Orleans and resident of Luling passed away peacefully on Monday, March 22, 2021. Beloved husband to Nora Bordonaro Dupont for over 64 yrs. He is also survived by his children, Donna Dupont, Wanda Coble (William), Robert Dupont, Jr. (Sydney); grandchildren, Brooke Fehr (Justin), Mallory Reilly (Patrick), Lance Dupont, and Emily Dupont; great-grandchildren, Preston and Ashlyn Fehr; sister, June Gelinas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lannie and Maude Dupont. He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a retired machinist from Cynamide and Union Carbide. He loved watching football particularly the Saints and LSU, playing cards, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Dr., Luling. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am until mass time. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
