Not sure what to say?

Rob always had a smile, had kind words, and was someone we always enjoyed seeing in church. You are on the distant shores with Jesus, but you will be greatly missed by us all!

Captain Durgin was a fine figure of a man. No one was a stranger for long with him. He will be missed and as my wife, Carol, said, we will remember him when we celebrate Chapman's birthday, His will, will live on.

I will miss Uncle Robbie, as you all will. He shared his birthday with one of our grandchildren, Chapman Banks Kinlaw. As we celebrate Chapman each June 15 we will remember Uncle Robbie.

Though I only knew him for a few months, I have been immeasurably blessed by his life. I am so happy to have known my soon-to-be wife's Gramps.

I'll miss Uncle Robbie. He and my Dad were always so funny when they got together. Lots of laughs and smiles remembering all the good times...like the seedy motel in Norfolk, Va. We drove down to meet the ship and it was the only place with a vacancy. Definitely not triple A, but we had a lot of laughs remembering that place over the years. Love, Keannie

What an honor and privilege it was for me to have had the oppertunity to meet and get to know Captain Durgin. My thought's and prayer's go out to his family. He will be truly missed. As he would call me, his favorite second base.

Our hearts and prayers go out to you. Our country is blessed to have faithful men like this serve our nation. Ted & Sue Siok

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. I'm sending you a hug from afar.
