Robert W. Durkin

I've lived all my life in WLB so you had to know Bobby if you lived here. He was one fun loving person and he touched a lot of friends. Gruff at times but like a gentle giant. My mom used to be the WLB grammar school cook when we attended and Bobby was always there and my mom took good care of him. He will be sorely missed. We saw him recently at the Old Guard Holiday party. Our condolences to his family.

Back in 1987 I worked with Bobby at the P.O. I can remember his grande smile and twinkle in his eyes. His tribute is the great family he raised with his wife Hope. Who didn`t know the Durkin kids! All of the Brainard kids:Barbara, Kathy, Patty & Bobby send their faith & sympathy to you. GOD BLESS.

I knew Bobby all of my life, we grew up together, he lived across the street from our family. I am sorry to hear of his passing, please accept our sympathy for your loss.
