Robert "Bob" Duvall died Friday, August 30, 2013 in Morton Hospital at age 67. He was born December 8, 1945 in Boston and was a son of the late Edwin and Mary (Deaver) Duvall.

Bob was a longtime resident of North Attleboro where he was an avid bowler at the North Bowl bowling alley.

He has been a resident of Taunton for the past several years and was a member of the Arc of Bristol county where he enjoyed going on vacations, Paw Sox games, bowling and spending time with his friends of the Arc. Bob considered the Arc his family.

Prior to his failing health, Bob worked at Town Line Redemption Center in North Dighton from where he retired in June. He will be missed by his Arc family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 5 at 11 a.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro. A time for visitation will be held in the funeral home immediately prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery & Arboretum, Attleboro Falls.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arc of Bristol County, 141 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703 or the charity of one's choice.

I remember Bobby from when I was a kid growing up in North Attleboro back in the 60's and 70's. I saw my old neighbor just a few weeks ago and ironically asked whatever happened to Bob. He told me that Bobby was sick which brought back old memories and stories of encounters with "Bicycle Bob". He was always friendly and respectful to us kids and never failed to ask what the score of the Sox game was on any given day. I hope that Bobby is now at peace. He was a kind and gentle man from...
