Robert E. Wilson

Robert E. Wilson passed away peacefully on Feb 6, 2022 at the age of 100. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Wilson and his three siblings. Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 74 years, Claire and his children Lynne Erickson (Tarry), Kathy Brockman (Jim), Bob Wilson (Mary Lynn) and David Wilson (Judi). Grandchildren: Amy Everhart, Andrew Brockman, Bobby Brockman, Jessica Zabel, Joe Wilson, Mickey Wilson, Kasey Hawkins, Eric Wilson and Nathan Wilson. Carrying on his legacy are 11 great grandchildren.

Bob was born in McKeesport Pennsylvania. After high school graduation, he served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater. Upon returning from the war, he entered college and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He had a long career with ALCOA moving his family several times. Bob had an enduring love for his wife, his family, golf, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Rose Church on March 11, 2022 at 10:00 am. Bob donated his body to U.C. Medical School.
