Not sure what to say?

Robert was the Rooster in the Hen House. He would come in to the hair salon I frequented often times bringing his daughter. He knew everybody and was especially close with the two stylists. He was just so positive, uplifting and complimentary. His spirit will be missed. "I Cry" for the loss of an uplifting, positive spirit!

Robert was the "people's conscious in Annapolis." Always telling the truth about the situations of our people in my hometown. Kim and I will miss your spirit dearly.

"People are always blaming their circumstancesfor what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, they make them...that's who Robert is, was in life...unafraid to speak truth to power for his people. I salute my brother and friend...u will truly be missed in those city council and housing authority meetings. Clay Street, always!

Now, Robert was a character. Yes, unique and funny and serious and caring. I knew him from our mutual hangouts. Our talks were both humorous, serious and too short. I regret not knowing him better. He was a guy who cared a lot about his family, friends and community. He was a presence (!) and he’ll be missed. My condolences to family and friends.

I will miss our talks we had when you came to Spa Creek. Rest easy my friend.

Rest easy my friend

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

A man I respected a great deal,
We had many great conversations about life and it’s meaning during our drives.
I always considered Robert a friend and will miss him
