Not sure what to say?

Such a wonderful memory of Robert and his ability to light up an interesting conversation with knowledge, laughter and the most precious gift of all......being a true gentleman. Sending hugs to Maureen.

I see, hear and feel my memory of Robert as warmth, laughter, great presence and above all a gentleman in every sense of the word. I send a big hug to the love of his life, my beautiful friend Maureen, his wife. Sylvia -x-

I was saddened to learn of Robert's passing. A man of many interests, hobbies, activities, he brightened everyone's day. My prayers reach out to Maureen and their family. The Holy Trinity Parish family will miss him dearly.

I knew Robert when our time at the Trinity University graduate school at the Dallas Theater Center overlapped, and where he played King Claudius in Paul Baker’s original production of Hamlet ESP. He was probably the tallest Claudius I had ever seen, before or since. That was about 50 years ago.

From the early days at Oak Lawn Community Theatre, through progressive dinners, to celebrations and movie nights, Robert was a giant presence in my life. I miss that presence. Hugs to Maureen, Erin and Ryan, and your beautiful families.

Our deepest prayers and sympathy

Fear of Covid and ice keep me from Holy Trinity this morning to say a formal and sacred goodbye to one of the finest giants of the earth. When my 96 and a half year old mother heard the news of Robert’s death, she said, “0h, no, not that fine gentleman...”. That’s memory and universal feeling of every one who ever knew him. As college kids at Trinity, he opened his home to us for laughter and endless dancing, and his beautiful and intense wife Maureen kindly put up with us even when she was...

I just heard of Robert’s death and my heart breaks for the love of his Life, Maureen. They were longtime clients of Miller Travel and Robert was one of our favorites. He would come in and bring us goodies at Christmas prepared by He and Maureen. We loved his visits. He was such an interesting man. He will be missed.

He was the tallest funniest man I ever met, and the other half of the best parents of my favorite TAG student, Erin. My love to Maureen, Erin and Ryan et al.
