Paul, Richard and Kurt, the Jakus family sends our condolences. It is hard to imagine that it was so long ago when we lived next door, but there are certainly many good memories of our families living in such close proximity! I am so sorry to hear of your father's death. He was always such a grand fellow -- kind and cheerful. I never think of him without a smile on his face, or a serious look on its way to a smile.
Travel plans will prevent my seeing you all on Saturday, and Molly is working in New Mexico right now and also will be unable to be at the funeral. I'm especially sorry to miss seeing your families. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and big hugs all...
