Robert Ward Eckert

I still think of Robert often. He was such a humble and kind man. He had a special "mother/son" relationship with my Mom. I was always amazed that they both died on Oct. 21st, two years apart. May they be together praising the Lord and resting in eternal peace.

Dear Mary and Boys,

I can't begin to have the words to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Robert was a wonderful man and a wonderful friend. I will never forget him being one of the first people to approach me at Burton Heights UMC and then when my Mom and I sponsored him for his Emmaus Walk. He was a real person who spoke the real word of God. My Mom will be so happy to greet him in Heaven with a big hug and some wonderful conversation they never had trouble having. I loved...

To all who knew Robert we have indeed lost a true friend. I wish to send my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Our world now has a void in it but Heaven has recieved a new star.

Mary, I can't express how sorry I am for your loss. Robert was a wonderful personhe will be missed. I hope you find comfort knowing that he touched so many lives. I will always remember him calling you his "beautiful bride"
