I worked at the Santa Maria Municipal Court from 1976-1979 as a clerk. I always admired Judge Eckhoff for his fairness and wonderful sense of humor. He truly was one of the nicest people I've ever worked with. One fond memory is how he had donuts delivered to the courthouse every Tuesday. My prayers are with his wife and family.
