My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the entire Eckman family. I've known Bob since I was a very young boy. He's always been a special friend to our entire family including my parents and grandparents. Bob's family can be very proud of Bob and he will surely be missed by all that knew him.

Spent many evenings at Eckie's solving life's problems while singing along to George Fobia. Bob and his wife Carol raised two wonderful daughters who are now raising wonderful families of their own. can there be a better legacy. Thoughts and prayers to the Eckman family. Sincerely,

Another Classmate of '56 is down. Bob was a good friend and hardshell buddy. He was the Cool one of the Class with his Duck-tail hair and dancing at Knoebels where he also worked with Gibby and Mike. Officially, we were the last class of St Eds High School but it was known for one year as SHAMOKIN CENTRAL CATHOLIC and we had the championship B-team with the Strausser boys.
