So sorry to hear about your father
Really enjoyed hearing his stories
when our boat was pulled. A true
waterman at heart. He will be sorely
missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. We've moved out of Mathews and just heard about Mr. Edwards. We always had our boat pulled out at his railway and will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bobby and your family.

Dear Edwards family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Stewart was a wonderful man, always full of life and always having a story to tell. It amazed me that he always remembered who I was, even though there were many times years between seeing me!

My parents will always be grateful for the kindness that Stewart showed when they first moved to the Island and all of the years after. I'll always cherish talking with you when stopping to get the mail...
God Bless

Capt. Edwards was a great father and friend and he and his wonderful humor will be greatly missed.

I will be praying for his family in this time of great sorrow.

Bobby and Sammy sorry to here about your dad,I would like to my condolences, he will be missed, Ronald Hugate

I fondly remember many stories dear Stewart told. He had an excellent memory and sense of humor. He would speak fondly of early days on the Island. Stewart will be missed by all who knew him. May God bless him as he has entered into eternal life. He so missed Doris and now they are together once again. Every time I see "Joe" wondering on S.Bayhaven Road I will think of our beloved Stewart. My love to you Bettye, Bobby and Sammy.

Capt. Edwards was a dear friend. My deepest sypmathy to his family. I celebrate the many times we spent talking at the railway. His wisdom was cherished by many. I shall remember him fondly every day I spend on the waters he loved so much.
He always called me "Mr. Powhatan", indeed he WAS Mr. Gwynn's Island!

MY HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES ON YOUR LOSS.
