Not sure what to say?

I just learned about Bob's passing here. It's hard to explain the feeling that I have in my heart right now. I am a retired writer from FCB and had the great blessing of working with Bob on one of my favorite production experiences of my life, the "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark" Halloween spot for Coors Light. His imagination and relentless kindness and humor have stayed with me for 40 years. Advertising put a lot of great people in my path. Few have stayed with me like Bob. It's an honor to...

I left my comments & neglected to say, his Book, Curmudgeon. Hilarious, as only he could be! I encourage you to add it to your library.

Bob was a human sparkler. With a twinkle in his eye like Santa Claus. I miss him. He was responsible for recommending me to be a Producer at Young & Rubicam. Best job & work of my career. Shooting with him was always a joy, with lots of laughter & creative problem solving. I miss him. Love & prayers to his family, 3 beautiful women. Wife, Pat, daughters Genesee & Riley.

So sorry to have come across this article, but so happy to have known Bob and to have been his secretary during his years at Young and Rubicam. He was such a wonderful, kind, friendly and giving person and I cherish the time I worked with him. I'm glad to know he made it to 91! Rest in Peace, Bob ...

Bob was a wonderful, kind, and cheerful man. I had the pleasure of working with him years ago when he was a talented director and I was a very green assistant producer. I am so sorry to see he´s gone, but the light of his lovely soul will light up the universe forever. Rest In Peace, dance in heaven or maybe some of both, Bob. I send my condolences to all your loved ones. I was one of the many that you were kind to.

I always enjoyed Bob's infectious laugh and looked forward to the times I would see him while Shepherding Riley through the rapids of schools in Santa Fe. Another deal soul that will be missed.

Adios Neighbor. Rest easy. Going to miss you at lunch.

Bob was such a great guy. I loved spending time with him, Pat and some of our mutual friends. Bob had a wry sense of humor and always made me smile. I will miss Bob, and will remember him fondly.

A gentleman. A scholar. A comedian. An artist. A gentleman. A philanthropist. A husband. A Father. A friend. And much more. All wrapped up in an extraordinary human being. I'll miss you dear, Bob.
