Not sure what to say?

"Mr Egner", Bob, will always remain such a loving and happy part of my family memories. My parents were close friends with The Egners since their meeting at the Jack O Lantern many years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with Chris, Barbara, Nancy and the entire family. What a wonderful man he was.

I am so sorry to hear about your lost. May you find comfort in the God of all comfort because he cares for you. 1Peter 5:6-7.

Nancy and Barbara - The Pecks have such wonderful memories of our summers with the Egners at the Jack-o-lantern filled with laughter, enjoyment and our parents' predinner cocktail hours! The.lifetime bond we established with your Dad was full of love and respect. I so valued "Uncle" Bob's commitment to God and country and know the loss you feel is a big one. God Bless You.

Just thinking of you warms our hearts! You brought so much joy and goodwill to our church in River Edge. Though we retired to Florida more than 4 years ago, we can still "see" you in your green sports jacket helping in so many different capacities. Most of all, you radiated friendship and encouragementand rays of sunshine followed you wherever you went, like a leprechaun out to make the everyone happy--and you pretty much did!

Can't imagine Chris without you! Our hearts go out to...

We will miss you Bob, we learned to appreciate you, respect you and love you, we value your courage, your love and dedication to your nation and that spirit so joyful that you always showed and also your sensitivity to the things of God, in whose presence you are today. Thank God for giving us the privilege of meeting you.

A warm and giving man who enjoyed life to the fullest. A true patriot from the greatest generation who served his country admirably during World War 2 in both the European and Pacific theaters along with his shipmates aboard the USS Quincy. Your stories and zest for life will be missed, Godspeed my friend.
