I was a student of Bob's for a long time, while I was in school. He taught me everything I know about the trombone and music. I was dismayed to hear of the news. I give my sympathy and prayers to the family in their time of loss.

Mary Eilzabeth and Family, We are shocked and so concerned for you all. May God hold you in the palm of His hands as you walk this difficult journey. Our hearts and prayers are with you.

Please accept my condolences on the death of Robert, who will always be remembered as Bob to me. He was a dear friend whose musical abilities I admired highly. Bob was extra-special. He left us too soon. He'll be remembered fondly by me until the end of my days.

Or deepest sympathy to you and your family.....Holly, Judy, and Mary (Dr. Vachhani's office)

To our dear Mother; to Robert's devoted wife, Mary Elizebeth and his beautiful children, Valerie, Laure, Mark and Robin. Kathy and I and our sons Eric and Karl wish to share our love and to mourn with you in this hour of grief. Because of my relentless helth considerations I am unable to be with you.
My brother and I are different in many ways. As we grew up, we took different paths in life. I wish I had been able to let him know how proud I am of his various talents and abilities.

Dear Mary Elizabeth,

With sympathy and fond memories.

Billie

My wife and I truly express our condolences to the family of Ragtime Robert. I have had the pleasure of playing with Bob many times and he had put so much energy and time into each performance. His book of charts for the big High Society Ragtime Band and the smaller band were a masterfull undertaking. The music world is missing something this day. We all are missing a great gifted friend and musician.
