I was stunned with Bob's passing. He was the consumate friend and colleague, someone always there for you. I have so many fond memories of our many conversations over almost 20 years, and also of his adoring relationship with Joan. He will be missed...but certainly pain free as he begins his final journey to yet a better place.

My Dear Friend
I met Robert Eigen about 15 years ago. Robert represented everything New York and Palm Beach. Charm, Elegance and that worldly Sophistication that few people have. Not only did he have it, he enjoyed having it. You knew he had it when he ordered breakfast, drank the perfect wine or danced with his beloved Joan as only the two of them could. He was the gentleman's gentleman.
Several years ago we started walking on the "Trail" in Palm Beach and I got to see another side...
