Goodbye Bob, gone to whence ye came
In that Nova Scotia village, known
To many as Glace Bay,
Where the miners are all gone,
But the mem'ries still remain,
And the whole damned town turned out
To see you on your way
Past the boarded up, old synagogue,
The Thee-a-ter, Collette's
To that little plot near mom and dad
The rain made soaking wet,
As though the Heavens oped and cried
And all the angels wept
And River Mira swelled a bit
To have her old friend back.

As an emergency nurse at PVH for 25 years, I remember when Dr.Ein started practicing there. He quickly became one of our favorite physicians. His good humor, practical wisdom, and excellent medical care earned him an outstanding reputation throughout the Pascack Valley area. He and Carmen would attend our Holiday parties every year, and they were always great fun. Dr. Ein was inspirational in his practice, and in his life. He was a devoted MD and family man. I am truly saddened by this news, and I extend my sincere sympathy to all of his family.

“Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in Memory help to comfort you tomorrow “
So sorry to hear about Robert's passing! We were friends and classmates in high school and I will never forget the good times we shared in Glace Bay. Robert always seemed to be wearing his beaming smile and was always willing to give a helping hand. The worst sunburn I ever had was on the Mira with Robert, on Isaac's boat. Toby and May (MacDonald) were not impressed – we, on the other hand, had a great day, despite the pain afterwards!! Robert was one of the good guys and he will always have a place in my memory.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
