Not sure what to say?

I knew Bob for 20 years. He had been at Abbott for many years when I joined in 1989. He was well respected by his peers as well as Plant Managers and their engineering staff. His capability was matched by his humility.

He was a great asset for me when I first began visiting the plant in Puerto Rico; he would watch after me like a mother hen. He kept me several times from getting into political jams at the plant. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My love and prayers go out to Bobs family. We graduated in the same class in 1946 at dear Old Messick High. We also shared emails with each other, humorous, serious, Christian ones. I enjoyed all of them.

Bob was a dear friend, a trusted and valued co-worker, and fun to be with all the time. He was a true gentleman. We corresponded regularly, so if there is E-mail in Heaven I know he'll be in touch. Char, and I had the good fortune to lunch with him recently and we will miss him.

Bob, rest in peace. We had many fun lunches at Austins. You are greatly missed by your old Abbott buddies.

My deepest sympathies, and although I didn't have a lot of interaction with Bob, we did have some engineering exchanges while working at Abbott.

My condolences to the family of Bob. He was truly a great "people person" whom I had the great pleasure to work with and know. His frequent emails of the "goings on" at Abbott was a dedication that kept us all informed. He will be missed.

They didn't make 'em any better. Bob was a loyal friend that could be counted on to lend a hand, boost your spirits, or give you his honest opinion (which might not boost your spirits). I miss him already.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Elbrecht and family. I will forever remember him as the "Father that everyone should have".

Our prayers and sincere sympathy
go to the family of Bob, who both
us knew as a fellow student at Messick High School in Memphis TN.
E-mail was a communication method that we both used to share articles of religion, humor, and news of interest with each other and in turn we shared the same with others.
