ELDE, Robert Edward “Bob” - Of Flushing, age 65 died Monday, September 11, 2017 his residence with his family by his side.



 



A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at NewLife Community Lutheran Church, 7235 Torrey Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Bradley Yops officiating.



 



Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.



 



In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to NewLife Community Lutheran Church www.newlifelutheran.net, Lutheran Church Missouri Latin American Missions/Deaconess Christel Neuendorf (Neuendorf-Latin America Support) www.lcms.org/neuendorf or Pancreatic Cancer Research at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan www.uofmhealth.org.



 



Visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday and 10:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at church.



 



Bob was born in Flint, Michigan on January 22, 1952.



 



Bob and Annette Papendick were married May 20, 1979 in Flint, Michigan.



 



Bob was honored to be a part of a faithful group of men, who with the Lord’s guidance, founded NewLife Community Lutheran Church in Swartz Creek, Michigan.



 



Bob served the Lord as a Worship Leader for 25 years. The past 22 years Bob served as Director of Music and Worship at NewLife Community Lutheran Church.



 



Bob also spent 25 years as a quality craftsman in new construction and the remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms.



  



Survivors include, wife, Annette;



daughter and son-in-law, Christel and James Neuendorf;



 



brother, Donald (Mary) Elde;



 



sister, Janet Elde;



 



father-in-law, William (Jean) Papendick;



 



brother-in-law, Allen Papendick;



 



sister-in-law, Angela (Kevin) Maynard.



 



Preceding Bob in death are parents, Edward and Bertha Elde and mother-in-law, Jacqueline Papendick.



 



Bob’s family would like to extend their heartfelt and sincere appreciation to Pastor Brad Yops, Pastor Dave Rossow and to our entire NewLife family in CHRIST.



 



Your love, concern, compassion and especially your prayers during Bob’s illness will be forever cherished.
