To Evangelist Eley and family, my prayers are with you. I know the relationship that all of you have with Jesus, so, I am confident that the Holy Spirt is your comforter in your time of grief. For we know "that to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord." Knowing that Robert was saved before he left this Earth, is reassurrance that he has gone on to a better place. I love all of you and I am always praying for you. Reading over the many comments, have really touched me, to know...

Mr. Eley was a man that showed God's love in his actions. His smile and kindness will always be remembered. I am sure he has heard, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." May God give you peace and comfort in the days ahead. He ran his race well. Now it is up to each of us to do the same.

To the Eley Family, just as some of the others, I did not know Robert or have the pleasure to meet him, but what always stayed with me & what I will always remember was his voice. His voice was a voice like no other. May Officer Eley take his place around GOD throne , Because he already received his golden crown a long time ago, GOD just needed Robert to complete the cycle. May GOD be with the family.

Officer Eley, I have only had the pleasure of knowing you for 20 months or so and trust me the pleasure was all mine. Not only were you the ultimate professional, you were a very kind, loving man. You will be missed dearly. In retrospect, my working for MPD and working with you has provided a different insight into life and my life. We are all truly blessed to have had time with you. God Bless.
