Robert Elliott

I met Bobby as an 11 year old Little League teammate in Charlotte,NC in 1962 along with his dad Coach Bob and brother Larry. I met him again in 1971 as an arch competitor playing for UNC Chapel Hill and me at NC State in Raleigh. We met again in Atlanta as members of a highly competitive softball team made up of his former Dykes high school friends and college baseball players. Bob and I had offices next door to each other when we were at C&S Bank. As good a friend as he was a banker, we kidded each other often about who was the best salesman. Truth be told, it was Bob. Full of spirit and fun to be around. Though we hadn't seen each other much since our banking days, I am sure to those that have spent recent time with Bob, he will be missed. I will miss knowing he is not around. Rest in peace my friend. George Boltwood
