Robert "Jack" Ellis Robert "Jack" Ellis, 82, of Louisa, departed this life on Monday, April 29, 2013, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia. He was born on November 4, 1930, in Wayne County, North Carolina, to the late Oscar and Sarah Taylor Ellis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Ellis; son, Howard Lee Ellis; four brothers, Daniel, James, Levi and O'Neal Ellis; great-grandson, Hanz Emanuel Ellis; and son-in-law, Larry Morris. He is survived by four daughters, Daphne Morris of Louisa, Virginia, Joanne Stewart and husband, John, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Janis Ellis of Louisa, Virginia, and Lisa Wright and husband, Russell, of Troy, Virginia; four sons, Elder Hugh Ellis and wife, Sandra, of Louisa, Virginia, Robert J. Ellis Jr. of Louisa, Virginia, Elder Ron L. Ellis and wife, Mary, of Charleston, West Virginia, and Elder Danis Ellis of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one sister, Mabletine Coley of Landover, Maryland; one brother, Wade Ellis of Washington, D.C.; 17 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Evergreen Bibleway Church with Pastor Steven Mason officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held 11 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the church. Satchell's Funeral Service of Orange, is in charge of arrangements.

Grandpa I miss you so much. I reflect on the memories,as a child and now an adult. You always ask about me , your mookie. My picture stayed close by your bed, you made sure it was never moved lol.I am going miss getting messages from my daddy. You always told me the truth if you didnt like something,from my hair,clothes etc. The last thing you said to me was behave.I love you so much and you knew that.
