Dear Mimi, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a mensch & mentor to the "younger" generation of doctors like myself, who joined The Portland Clinic during the later years of his career. The patients of his who I inherited were truly appreciative of his attentive care. I know that Bob suffered much from his complex illnesses but courageously moved on into a meaningful retirement; an example to us all. Blessings to you & your family, Burt Lazar

My father in law, John Melonas Sr. and his brother Sam were patients of Dr. Epstein for many years. When I married John Jr. we both went to Dr. Epstein until his retirement. The whole family loved Dr. Epstein and appreciated his care and sincere concern for our health. We feel blessed to have known him. Merry Humphrey Melonas
