Not sure what to say?

I am sorry I missed this. Bob and I worked on a number of great projects while I had my commercial studio in Houston, Having moved to Indianapolis unfortunately I lost touch for which I am deeply sorry. My best to Dottie and family. Ric Chilson, Groundglass Studio, Houston Tx

We send our tender sympathy to you Dottie and the Erwin family on the loss of your dear one.

We all met as students at the Art Institute of Chicago.
We called Dorothy, Dottie. And Robert, well... Tex.
We shared our days with Picasso, Seurat and Gauguin:
three powerful exhibits that arrived to amaze and inspire.
We often cut class to sit in the cheap seats at Orchestra Hall.
Or sneak into the Goodman Theater to watch a rehearsal.
Then hang out late to listen to jazz at the Blue Note.
What a wonderful time and place to learn and grow...

Mr. Erwin was a true Gentleman, and a friend among friends. It was my pleasure to know him.

Bob will be sorely missed. Even though there were many years between visits, seeing you guys awhile back seemed like we had never parted. Bob's boyish laugh made him eternally young. We feel such sadness for you, Dottie and Bob and the rest of your family. Wish we were there at this time to hug you all. We're there in spirit.

The first thing I remember is how he loved Eddy Arnold songs and he would say his name was really Eddy Erwin, or the fake draft notice for Charley and then got drafted himself. So many wonderful times in later years at high school reunions. What a great friend to grow up with and share fun times with. He will be so missed. Much love and wishes that we could be there to say goodbye.

Please accept our deepest sympathies.
