Not sure what to say?

I was deeply saddened to hear of Rob’s passing. I remember him as a kindhearted and compassionate person who always included everyone in lively conversations and gatherings. I met Rob in San Francisco around 2004 in a community space called Station 40 in the Mission District. Coincidently, we were both from Pennsylvania, lived in Philly during the early 90’s and were both from working-class families. Over the years, I kept in touch with Rob off and on and we had some great conversations about...

I'm embarrassed to say I hadn't been reading Rob's work. I realized just now in an interview with Christian Parenti about him that I'd spent a little time with him in the West Bank in july-september 2003. I did video of an interview he conducted with a family who had just been horrifically brutalized at an Israeli checkpoint. We'd gone there with a young ap snapper named scout tufankjian.

I don't think I impressed him all that much, honestly. Not that he wasn't friendly and...

Any, I only met Rob once, many years ago, when he was a young teen. Through the years you've shared some of his adventures with me. Knowing some of these things, I still didn't realize what a full, purposeful life he lived. You raised a wonderful , dedicated man that you can be very proud of.

I am a stranger. I did not know Robert. I literally stumbled upon his story. Intrigued because of his Swedish last name because I was married to a Swede and lived several years in Sweden. Though my condolences are here to be sent to all that know and love Robert. I truly believe I landed here not be accident. This weekend I attended a Tony Robbins live virtual 4 day Unleash the Power Within. Basically it's equipping one to start the journey to overcoming limiting beliefs and live a full life....

Robert and I attended Columbia together in 2011/2012 and I'll never forget the integrity and intelligence that he brought to every conversation. He was an extraordinary human being and I feel so lucky to have known him. Sending my deepest condolences.
