Not sure what to say?

Dr. Evans was wonderful. I told him once that I wanted his job "when I grew up". He smiled so warmly & told me to "go for it". He was so supportive of his staff, his Victory Park kids, his volunteers, so generous of his time to all. He will always be remembered as a friend and mentor to me.

One year....it goes by so fast and so slow....this I know only too well. Blessings to Mickey and family....he will always be missed.

He was my PrinciPAL at Victory Park and taught me the word PAL is in principal cause that´s what he was to all the kids. I ran into him at Mayfield Methodist 40 years later and he was still the caring and kind man I remembered. The atmosphere he made at Victory Park was incredible and an awesome start to life. "Thanks for the Memories" May God Bless your family

Dr. Evans was my principle at Victory Park from 1978...until it closed and then went to Adrian..I remember him during our relay races at the end of every year. He was always handing out the gold and silver metals...He always encouraged us to strive for the best.. he loved my sister and I and my parents adored him always thanking him for his respect and protecting all of his victory children. Wonderful memories of this great man. My deepest condolences to his family. May his memory remain...

My deepest sympathy in your loss. I remember him from Anderson school when I was a student there. Such a wonderful person. Thoughts and prayers are with you all,

I am so sorry to hear this. Dr. Evans was a kind gentle soul who mentored so many. I was his PTA president for a couple years. My 3 kids went through Victory Park a couple years before it closed. Loved by all who knew him! One year a contest: Who Is the Boss of the School: Dr. Evans, Mrs. Petty (secretary), or Mr. Ben (dear custodian).... Mr. Ben won HANDS DOWN! We all laughed about this for a long time! Bob was loved by all.

My deepest condolances to his family and friends. Dr. Evans was a wonderful man. He was my elementery school prinicipal at Victory Park. He was always so kind and loved all us kids so much. I will treasure all memories of him.

Dr. Evans was the principal of Victory Park Elementary School while I was there. I still remember some of the lessons that he shared with me. Most importantly, he taught me to be kind and to believe in myself. He was one in a million.

My sympathy to his family. Remember Dr. Evans as my principal.
