Adios, Unk.
Robert A. Fallon

Unc,
Hopefully you left some DNA for us to examine. I know you thought this
an unfair intrusion into your soul, but science must march on. You
always symbolizes the great continuity of life to me, so the DNA better
be in good condition and not contain any missing stories or errant
jokes!
When nine, I used the words "technique" and "finesse" in a sentence
(you and I were talking about the secrets of successful fishing) and
you made such a fuss over my use of those words...

Uncle Bob,

Matt and I were blessed to have you and Aunt Jean in our lives. As you know, you were more then and Uncle but like a Grandfather to us. I will never forget the stories you shared, the memories with my family and of course your humor! Thank you for the “wink” good-bye. I hold that close to my heart. You will be missed…may your memory be eternal.

Love, your great niece,

You were the last of a legendary group. I will miss your humor and your cooking. I bet you and my father were so happy to see each other. I knew they'd be awaiting you into heaven.

Love, melissa

Uncle Bob at his niece, Ann Fallon Reed's wedding.

Dear Uncle Bob,

You certainly will be missed for your intelligence, kindness, and sharp wit.

Please say, "Hi" to my father/your brother, Arnold, for me.

Rest in Peace.

Love,
Your niece, Diane (Fallon) Boylan
