Robert “Bud” Falvey, Sr., of Rumford, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. He was the loving husband of Eileen (Goyette) Falvey, with whom he was happily married to for 36 years. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Daniel A. and Gertrude (Freeman) Falvey. Mr. Falvey served in the US Army and the National Guard. He was a Telephone Installer for New England Telephone for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Attleboro Elks #1014, the Telephone Pioneers and the National Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially watching Patriots games with Mark. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Robert Falvey, Jr., Daniel “Scott” Falvey both of Warwick, and Alyssa Cadoret and her husband Mark of Riverside; two grandchildren, Madison Falvey and Morgan John Cadoret, who was the light of his life; a step sister, Suzanne Lajoie; a step brother, Wayne Suits and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Daniel A. Falvey and step son of the late Alice (Boucher) Falvey. The funeral will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 9 AM from the COSTIGAN-O’NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Teresa of Child Jesus Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours, Wednesday 4-7 PM. www.oneillfuneralhomes.com
