Not sure what to say?

We lived right down the street from you on Sunset Drive, Hamilton AFB. A nice man and a great family! Sue and Michelle, so sorry about your Dad's passing.

Capt. Bob was a true sailor. A hawse pipe beginner who rose to command a great icebreaker the Burton Island. I had the honor of working along side him during our attempt to save the GLACIER. I will never forget his dedication, resourcefulness and friendship.

I am in shock. Bob was a dear friend and shipmate. I served with Bob in the 11th Dist.. Then, fate brought us back together, trying to save the CGC Glacier. I know of nothing more to say than, he was a great person and friend who will live on in my heart.

We wish to offer our condolences to Captain Farmer's family as we remember his service to the ship and crew of US Coast Guard Cutter Burton Island. We will not forget his service and offer our deepest sympathies to his entire family. We are grateful for his help in keeping the memory of this ship ship alive.

May God bless your family in this time of grief.

Brian I am so very sorry for your loss. Please let me know if Matt or I can do anything for you. To lose a parent is the most difficult part of life. He is safe in the arms of the family that passed before him. And God is right beside him. Love Mel

So very sorry for your loss. He was a special person to me, he raised my best friend and I've always honored him (and your mom) for the grand job he did. I miss him and will always remember him. He was a very special man.

Michelle and family we are sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dad, You went too soon! We love and miss you.
I promise we will take good care of Mom. Give Mike and Pat a hug for us.
