My name is Brett McQuiston. Coach Faust was my 6th grade middle school Basketball Coach at Gaiser. He was tough but fair, old school guy. We need more of him now days. The games easy right coach? " Put the brown thing in the round thing " Rest In Peace, I'll see you again Coach.

When an old man dies, a library has burned. What a great and fun Teacher.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob at Gaiser Middle School. Bob was such a good man. He was a caring teacher and coach. Bobs kindness touched many of his students and fellow teachers. Bob truly was a life well lived

You were a good man coach! Rest easy!!

Bob and I taught and coached together fort seven years at Gaiser; He was a most positive and learned coach in football. We share fun memories I enjoyed working and coaching with him. Those years went too fast

Bob was a cornerstone of the Portland/Vancouver Project Healing Waters Program. As noted in the Obituary the program teaches the fundamentals of fly fishing to disabled veterans and military personnel as a form of recreational therapy. It is not uncommon for participants to state that the program has changed their lives.
