CASTINE -- Robert Eugene "Bob" Fellers, 72 of Castine, Ohio, passed away on Friday February 18, 2022, at his residence. Bob was born August 20, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Paul and Lois (Eby) Fellers. Bob served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from CenturyLink after 42 years where he worked as a telephone repairperson.
Bob was a member of Castine Church where he was very active, he coached little league baseball and soccer, was a member of the Chain Gang for Arcanum Football, he went on mission trips to Tijuana; he also went on Brethren Disaster Trips; and he volunteered at Grace Resurrection Community Center.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law: Clyde Focht; and his sister-in-law: Mary Focht.
Bob is survived by his wife Sharon (Focht) Fellers of Castine whom he married May 14, 1977; his son and daughter in law: Kyle and Megan Fellers of Greenville; his grandchildren: Michael and Bristol Wiley; his brother: Fredrick Fellers of Indianapolis; his sister and brother in law: Kathy and Wayne Summer of Castine; his mother in law: Ruth Focht; his brother in laws and spouses: Jerry Focht, Greg and Carol Focht, and Barry and Andrea Focht; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday February 25, 2022, at 10:30 AM at Castine Church, 624 US 127, Castine, Ohio with Pastor Greg Hyre officiating. Burial will follow in Castine Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday February 24, 2022, at Castine Church. Veteran's honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard at the cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Castine Church or Everheart Hospice.
