Robert Ronald Eugene Fetter

Robert Ronald Eugene "Bob" Fetter, 74, died at 11:54 p.m. Aug. 17, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born July 8, 1939, in Lima to J. Russell and Grethel Christine Craig Fetter, who preceded him in death. On March 12, 1960, he married R. Ellen Fetter, who survives in Lima. Mr. Fetter had worked at Warner-Swasey and then was a supervisor at Scot Lad Foods. He was a licenced judge for the American Kennel Club for more than 30 years and was a member of the Lima Kennel Club. He was a member of Union Chapel Missionary Church. Survivors also include three daughters, Nina Fetter, Nancy (Mike Campbell) Fetter and Christine Fetter (Tad) Hieneman, all of Lima; four grandchildren, David Dekok, Elizabeth "Blake" Boyle, Dyllon Dekok and Brett Gleason; four great-grandchildren, Morgan, Elijah, Aeris and Cameron; a brother, Thomas R.L. (Janice Mullins) Fetter, of Waynesfield; and two nephews, Todd (Audra) Fetter and Tommy (Gee) Fetter. He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Jeryl Fetter. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Eastside Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Fetter will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
