Rev. Fichter came to our South Killingly Church at a time of transition and disagreement. His presence, faith and thoughtful, caring leadership brought new ideas and renewed the life of our congregation. I especially remember that he baked the bread for our communion services, a characteristically humble and meaningful act that showed how much little things can make a difference. My deepest condolences to Angela and his children. He was a good man, resting now in the arms of the Lord.
