Read MoreMy condolences to Mr. Fiedler's family. He was my music teacher in 1983 at Freeman elementary. I had a solo that year in the 6th grade musical (Mary Poppins) He was very hip on music of the day. Although, at that age who knew Penny Lane was a classic. A real Mr. Hollands Opus: a teacher who loved music and teaching all his kids. Cheers to you, Mr. Feidler, I hope you and Lila are enjoying music together!

My condolences to the family. I had Mr Fiedler as a teacher at Cody school. I remember him as a fun and caring teacher. RIP

Mr. Fiedler asked me if I wanted to join the Sunrise Singers when I was at Cody Elemtary in 1966. He started me on a pathway of music that continues to this day. High school, college, amateur and professional music opportunities came my way thanks to his efforts. Here is to a life well lived and experiences that he afforded his students that could only be imagined.
