Paula and Brenda:

My Dad's best friend growing up in Fall River. Their paths parted during the war, but they stayed friends and in touch thereafter, including during trips to Europe when Bob and Nancy lived in Paris. Paul passed away on October 11, 2017, but I recall we did speak about Bob sometime before he passed. God bless you, Brenda and Paula, and your Mom, Nancy. God bless those who were truly of the "Greatest Generation". I have to say that Bob inspired me to become a Navy...

Driving us back and forth to the stables to ride our horses all summer long. Picking up 4 young girls smelling of horse sweat and all of the other stable and stall smells. He was always happy to pile us into the Turquoise Mustang and treat us to Goff's hamburgers or Swenson's Ice Cream on the way back home. He was smart, funny, interesting even to a 5th grader who had traveled very little at the time...

My deepest Condolence to the family and may you find Comfort in knowing that others share your sorrow with you take Comfort in knowing that God keeps those who dies in his memory for them are precious in his eyes. Psalm 116:15.
