Wee'r remembering many laughs together, Bob's expertise at Golf which he loved doing, and the laughs when he and Pearl had visited their home town one summer, and Bob returned complaining about the horrible traffic in town. We were puzzled because we knew it was a small town, but Bob said that some
ago, the town failed to keep out strangers, etc., and now there are "crowded" streets; at least 2 other cars they didn't recognize, were in town! :)

On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the staff and volunteers of the USS Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum, we wish to offer our deepest condolences to all of Robert Flaths's family and friends. We are extremely gratified and honored by his service in the US Navy and on the USS Hornet. Fair winds and following seas, shipmate.

Our Deep regrets to lose our long time friend and neighbor,
Bob Flath. He and Pearl were wonderful friends, and are missed very much. We've enjoyed 2 generations of Halloween visits,
school plays, Back yard suppers, neighborhood events, all
filled with love and laughter.

We rejoice that he and Pearl will be reunited in Heaven, with no care, or illness, or sadness. May God bless them and grant them
eternal Peace.
