In the early 60's while on active duty at Hancock Field I was able to matriculate at Lemoyne and was fortunate to have Bob Flavin as my history teacher. He was gifted. I also knew his sister Ann from Nottingham. Bob may be gone ow, but is 'life' goes on. I have passed on to my children some of the values he taught me.

my deepest sympathy to all bob's family. i remember him very well from crls.
he was consistently kind and concerned for the students. with an aura of serenity, bob never had a problem with the classes. students and teachers both respected and liked him.
one instance i recall.... one of our star students was going to a college interview at harvard. he brought a suit and tie and dress shoes to our school in anticipation of an afternoon meeting. he discovered he had forgotten...
