Not sure what to say?

In loving memory 1/29/21

In the early 60's while on active duty at Hancock Field I was able to matriculate at Lemoyne and was fortunate to have Bob Flavin as my history teacher. He was gifted. I also knew his sister Ann from Nottingham. Bob may be gone ow, but is 'life' goes on. I have passed on to my children some of the values he taught me.

God comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. (2 Cor. 1:4)

Please accept the most heartfelt sympathies of Le Moyne College. We hope the love and memories that you will forever hold in your heart bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Did he teach at LeMoyne College in the 60's ?

If so, he was quite an inspirational man.

Luise, my sympathies and condolences to you and your family. Bob was a very special person and left a great legacy of concern for students...always enjoyed the joy he found in that...and in his poetry! See you this evening! Jacquie

my deepest sympathy to all bob's family. i remember him very well from crls.

he was consistently kind and concerned for the students. with an aura of serenity, bob never had a problem with the classes. students and teachers both respected and liked him.

one instance i recall.... one of our star students was going to a college interview at harvard. he brought a suit and tie and dress shoes to our school in anticipation of an afternoon meeting. he discovered he had forgotten...

Our family is so sad to hear about Bob. Please know that you're all in our thoughts and hearts. Love, Carmela, Carla, and Laura
