Bob was a great man and a good friend

There will only be a handful of people that are the caliber of Bob you will meet in your lifetime I believe & sometimes you're blessed enough to know the moment you meet & other's it takes more time.

Bob was truly one of those I felt The Lord crossed in my path to show me as a example of what is possible when you mix desire, hard work, risk & faith.

Growing up I heard my dad and grandpa talk about Bob and what a good guy he was. They opened a NAPA store in Peoria in 1962 and Bob was one of their first customers. Later as I worked and eventually took over, I dealt with Bob for many years. He was always great to deal with, and thought of me and everyone who who worked for me as his friends. I will miss his scotch taped cigar and his genuine smile when he was in. He definitely belonged in the “greatest generation “ They sure aren’t making...

Thank you for being my friend. I enjoyed the way you would share your experiences with me. You always showed kindness and understanding. Your examples taught me to be a better man. Bob was a great person, I enjoyed working for him and Jerry. He was an icon in the tire industry. He will be missed. My sympathies to the family.

Mr. Fletcher was a dear friend of my parents and my brother.he was always spoken about with the highest regard..my deepest qsympathies to the family.

Bob was a wonderful employer. My husband was Cobre's first retiree.
Our five sons were also Cobre employees.
