Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to have had to miss the memorial for Bob today! Al and I have appreciated and enjoyed getting to know him and Marcia at East Church. For me especially I remember his enthusiasm for music and the popular Guatemalan marimba tune he and Marcia heard played on cello when visiting a church in Florida. They were so excited to share the bulletin with me when they returned. I then was able to get the music from the Trio of the Americas whom they had heard there and it has become one of...

Bob was a good Ski Patrol friend. I especially remember him during our refreshers, where his positivity raised everybody elses. His resiliance, especially after his recent car accident was inspiring. I loved watching him ski. Having skied for many decades myself, his style had many markers from the past.. a human skiing timewarp!

Prayers for healing to the Flink family and their many friends. Bob was an inspiration to many on earth, and now is in God's glory.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was an amazing person and held in high esteem by so many. I'm thankful to have known him through the Cannonsburg Ski Patrol for many years.
My condolences to his family and many friends.

Bob's energy and zest for life is an inspiration to us all. I always enjoyed his visits to Colorado and following him down another double black diamond!

So very sorry for your loss. We did not know him personally, but he sounds like he was an extraordinary person. He is at peace now.

So sorry for your loss. Always enjoyed all the times we spent with Marcia and Bob. What a wonderful life he led. Sympathy to all.

I had the great privilege of patrolling with Bob. He was a thoughtful, caring man. My love to your family. - Joyce Ploeg

Bob touched so many lives on the Cannonsburg Ski Patrol. He taught my dad and I emergency first aid skills in the '70s, and again in the '90s. He certainly was a member of the Greatest Generation, was the epitome of living life to the fullest, and will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss..
