My husband Larry and I visited cousin Judy and Bob several times in Colorado City. They, in turn, visited us in Michigan. Now my only contact with the Shaffer cousins is Deb, the baby of the family. She happened to call me last night and Bob's name came up in regards to the family piano. When it was up for grabs one time, Bob said he'd love to have it. Somehow it got moved to their house. From there, it ended up at Deb's house in Littleton. When she called last night, the subject of...

Bob always made me smile He was the first person I ever played pickle ball with and knew how to light up a court. I will sorely miss him and hope he continues his passion to entertain above.

Bob played two tournaments with my grandkids. First Bear and then her twin brother andrew. they won gold each time. Bob loved to compete and could laugh so hard when he hit a winner. He was always rushing off to play a "gig" at the organ. The depth of his life is a best selling book. He was always a gentlemen and strong in his demeanor. We nicknamed him submarine Bob when we had more Bobs playing pickleball. His hat gave us the opening idea for his service stories. I know him as a quick...

Bob was a kind and caring man. He gave a lot of his time, effort, and work for the
Lions Club and his community. We enjoyed his piano playing at our Lions meetings, and his accordion at some of our events. He also played at the nursing homes to bring them joy too. We will miss him! Mona & Pat Soland

Bob always had a smile on his face. Bob always had a compliment for Judy, Loyanne, and Robyn, he was very proud of his family. He constantly volunteered entertaining with his music at community facilities as well as being invited to play the organ at concerts all over the State of Colorado. Many enjoyed Bob's gift of music for many years. Bob, we will miss you. Judy will meet you at the gates of Heaven.

Every time my mom Lucile, husband Larry, and I visited Bob and Judy, we got our very own concert. Bob played a mean "You Picked a
Fine Time to Leave me, Lucile." His music
brought joy to so many people, us included.
