Red taught welding at the Pipefitters' school and was the best. He would literally take your hand while you were 'trying to weld' and guide you to the correct procedure. I don't think I would ever learned without his guidance. Red's work ethic was also an inspiration to all of his students, including myself. He even came out of retirement to instruct laid off Pipefitters so they could be employed more and it worked for a great number. Red can take credit for thousands of welds that...
