Not sure what to say?

Bob will be greatly missed. He was, by far, the best administrator In both districts where I was privileged to teach. His door was always open. I´m sure he ran interference with parents and I appreciated it. I have fond memories of Bob and his daughter, Robin. Here are hugs for his wife and daughter. God bless.

I telephoned him about ten years ago and had a wonderful conversation for about an hour. Oddly, i had been thinking of calling again or sending a card (he was hard of hearing)- i did not know he was ill; it is a tremendous loss to me as i am sure it is for thousands if others.

RIP Mr. Ford you were the best! Thank you for everything.

Mr. Ford was the best principal, I was an student office worker for extra credit and he was so much fun to work with. He will definitely be missed by all who knew him way back then and now.

So sad. back in our Senior year (1977) after the millage failed and the student council was realigned, no sports, no class distinctions etc. Mr Ford told me that he would support any activity that we could come up with that would be within the school board guidelines. We could not have had a better friend and supporter for our school and the students. A great quiet and strong Leader. May God be with you Mr. Ford.

Bob Ford hired me in 1971 when I was seeking a job teaching high school English. He took a chance on me, and I am very grateful he did. He was a great person to work for and inspired me to always do more. He knew how to delegate and give responsibility to others. Bob always put the students at AHS first and always supported his staff. We always enjoyed our after work activities: walking the fence at the Lions Field during football games, crowd control at basketball games, theater trips...

I remember fondly my high school years and mostly the kindness and generosity of Mr. Ford. He was most definitely one-of-a-kind! May he rest in peace.

Many fond memories of this man. Heaven will be joyful. Thank you for being you in our lives. Signed "dirty paws"

He was a great Principle. He will be missed by so many. Deepest sympathies to his fa.ily and friends.
