Robert Louis Fortunato

I was devastated to hear about Robbie. I am sad at many levels. Robbie and I were cousins. We grew up together. Just a 100 feet apart. Robbie, Joey and I spent many days playing together. Basketball in the backyard or at Woodside. Risk or monopoly in the basement. Swim team, tetherball, relay races on Stockton Street, football on Jonesdale Ave, softball "in the field". Robbie was a fierce competitor and always a lot of fun.

I'm so sorry to find out about Robbie. I was his packaging science intern at Picatinny back in 1979-80. He taught me a lot and we had so much fun! We became close personal friends which gave me the privilege of meeting Meritt, Victoria, and Tracy, now longtime friends. He also taught me to ski, which was the basis for many great trips. My heartfelt sympathies to his family.

Sorry to hear this. Robert was my first 'boss' here at Picatinny. He was a great guy who taught me a lot. We had a blast..
