My condolences to the Baird and Florek families. Rest in peace Commissioner.

Bob and I met at many CYO games and championships over the years. I always admired the way Bob ran his team. I'd enter St. Thomas in the St. James Tournaments regularly because I respected the caliber of ball that Bob represented. Bob was a great coach and a class act and I admire his legacy.

I enjoyed being around Bob at the games. His humor, his wit, his dedication to the Brakettes, he was an enjoyable guy. God rest his soul.

Bob Baird was a man for all seasons. First of all he loved his family, friends and the people he met along life's journey. I was so lucky to be part of this fine family, as Godmother for Robbie. He had so many accomplishments but he was a dedicated husband, father,grandfather and friend.
