Robert, my twin brother Sandy, and I grew up together, a block apart, attended PS 139 and played together frequently on Stratford or Argyle Rds., cutting through Charlotte Stratton's backyard to team up. It was a happy boyhood despite the depression, and we enjoyed each other's company through 8th grade. Our paths went in different directions after that, and I often wondered where Robert wound up.
