Mr Frye was my English teacher back in 1975 at Sunset High School.. Different teacher, but a wonderful and happy teacher..He's was full of life. He's always cracked some jokes. Mr Frye would tell the class to write a statement. Rest in peace Mr Frye

Bob Frye was perhaps the greatest teacher I ever had and I've had a couple of pretty great ones. If there was anyone who could remind his students-or friends- that what they did and who they were mattered and that they, alone, possessed that power for their own lives- it was Mr. Robert Frye.
I regret having not seen him a few more times than I did in later years but I appreciate his gift to unlock lives by making it clear that we not only had the key to do this but that we were that key.
