FULLER, Robert L. Of Peabody, formerly of Reading, May 22, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Leslie B. (Gay) Fuller. Devoted father of Susan Wageman of Oakland, CA, Jean Fothergill and her husband Frank of North Andover, Nancy Breadmore and her husband Jim of Lawrence, and Carol Wood of North Reading. Loving grandfather of 5 and loving great-grandfather of 6. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, at the First Congregational Church, 25 Woburn St., Reading at 11:00am. Burial is private. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St., (corner of Woburn St.) READING from 3:00-7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert's memory to The Trustees of Reservations, 200 High St., Boston, MA 02110. So sorry to hear the news, we'll miss seeing Bob at dances!

I knew Bob and Leslie through square and contra dancing, and I always enjoyed seeing him (and Leslie in earlier times) and dancing with him at dances. The last time I saw him was at a Cape Ann dance in Gloucester before the pandemic. As usual, he had brought flyers for other dances. I appreciated his doing that, and I admired him for continuing to dance, even after Leslie died. I learned a lot about him by reading his obituary, and I was sorry to miss the calling hours and funeral...

I have fond memories of your Mom and Dad at home where we had so much fun playing and also of them contra/square dancing and being involved at NEFF. Bob& Leslie were intregal parts of Roaring Jelly! Leslie as President for many years and Bob as one of our Chief supporters and promoters by disseminating flyer to our dances and letting us know of other Public Dances! Bob roomed with Jan and I at NEFFA and we found him to be a wealth of information. He would keep us engaged until the wee hours of the morning. He was a dancer always in demand by the ladies and our Traditional New England Square & Contra Dancing kept Bob moving and happy. I...
