Devoted father of Susan Wageman of Oakland, CA, Jean Fothergill and her husband Frank of North Andover, Nancy Breadmore and her husband Jim of Lawrence, and Carol Wood of North Reading. Loving grandfather of 5 and loving great-grandfather of 6. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, at the First Congregational Church, 25 Woburn St., Reading at 11:00am. Burial is private. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St., (corner of Woburn St.) READING from 3:00-7:00pm. I knew Bob and Leslie through square and contra dancing, and I always enjoyed seeing him (and Leslie in earlier times) and dancing with him at dances. The last time I saw him was at a Cape Ann dance in Gloucester before the pandemic. As usual, he had brought flyers for other dances. I appreciated his doing that, and I admired him for continuing to dance, even after Leslie died. I learned a lot about him by reading his obituary, and I was sorry to miss the calling hours and funeral...

Bob& Leslie were intregal parts of Roaring Jelly! Leslie as President for many years and Bob as one of our Chief supporters and promoters by disseminating flyer to our dances and letting us know of other Public Dances! Bob roomed with Jan and I at NEFFA and we found him to be a wealth of information. He would keep us engaged until the wee hours of the morning.
