Not sure what to say?

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this difficult time.

We have lost one the world's funniest and most charming men. How we will cherish the memory of his wry wit and limitless energy! Deepest sympathy from cousin Cindy Katz and family to Delores, Jeannie, Elaine, Christine, Laura, Cindy, Steve, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the world at large. Who could help loving him? Whenever I picture his handsome face he is always laughing or grinning, and so is everyone else in the room, basking in his endless...

What wonderful times we all had at Wilson High School and Funk's Cafe. My sympathy to his sisters, Jeanie and Elaine, also to his family.

The St. Mark Lutheran Church Family remembers RC today knowing he is enjoying glory with God. Delores, you are truly loved by your church family and we pray you may find comfort in God's promise to us that we are never alone as children of God. May God be with you and your family!

Thank you for your kind messages. I know they will bring a smile to Mom's face once I show her that they are here to be read- not quite tech savvy yet. We all feel very blessed to have been apart of his family and know that we will see our "Superman" again without diabetes- the kryptonite that changed our life forever.

Mrs. Funk, Chris, Laura, Cindy and Steve,

My sympathy to you all. Please know I will keep you all in my prayers.

Your long lost neighbor - Marilyn (Downer) Hartwell
